Foot patrol (21/02/2026)

After assisting with a mental health assessment in Barking this morning, Lee paired up with Rick for a trip into Rush Green and Central Park (6.85 miles).

Beginning in Valentines Way via the front lakes, all of Parish Fields (2.51pm) was covered, including Campion and Lupin Close (p), followed by Harveys Lane.

Next up was full coverage on the east side of Dagenham Road, taking in the likes of Gorseway (3.26pm), Footpath 155 (3.37pm) and Lilac Gardens (3.49pm).

It was then through Thorntons Farm Avenue (4pm, p) and Central Park (p), arriving in the Parkside beat. Patrols here included Wheel Farm Drive (4.23pm), Park Drive and Hooks Hall Drive (4.33pm).
